Today's High: Our talk with our hosts. We had a good talk with our host family tonight. For the first time we were able to share how we felt about this faith move to Texas, and they shared their heart for us regarding how to succeed once we leave their home. Great talk!
Today's Low: The 25 minutes between getting the text that our hosts wanted to talk with us, and actually having the talk. I was scared. I won't lie. I didn't know what to think. I didn't know if we were getting kicked out or what. I tend to think the worst, so I was on pins and needles. I took a walk to calm down, and kept thinking about Isaiah 41:10. As written above, everything was fine, and we had a great talk.

Today's Summary
a. I fielded texts today from BS and CBJ about the "missing" brain dumps. We've trained folks to look at them first thing in the morning, and over the past three days Cetelia and I have been inconsistent. We know better now. Going forward, you'll be able to have your morning dump. Wait a minute, I didn't mean it like that. Nevermind.
b. I went to a McDonald's this morning to get some work done (free Wifi). The weird thing is that although this McDonald's has not one, but TWO open wifi networks you can jump on, there is not a single electrical socket in the 12-table dining room. Amazing. So, if you have a mobile device, you can surf forever since the battery life is great. If you have a laptop, you're screwed. Hey, I guess it's a good way to keep folks from hogging a table all day with their computers, right?
c. The entire family went to the library today (for some reason Caitlin was under the desk reading. She must have thought there was an air raid drill. As you can see from the pic above, we took over an entire section (that's how us nerdy Bullards roll in the library, son!). After the library I feasted on some fried chicken wings from a joint called Chicken Express (no, Cetelia was not with me when I ordered).
d. In the same shopping center was a church that had an interesting sign in the very front of the church. I'll let you read it for yourself. While I want to believe there's a very good reason it's there it does look a little self-important. (note: I've left off part of the church's name to keep it - and the pastor - anonymous).
e. At one point today it looked like the world was coming to an end. I call this Armageddon, Texas-style.
f. I love a good crime story - especially when the criminal is an idiot. Cetelia showed this one to me today: This guy broke into a house (dumb!), logged into his own FB account on the homeowner’s computer (dumb, dumb!), and did not log out (dumb, dumb, dumb!). The homeowner posted a message on FB using the robber’s FB account, and gave his personal cell to asking anyone to contact him to provide info about the suspect. Guess who texted him the next day? Right! (dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb!). Click here to read why this imbecile texted the homeowner. Crime doesn’t pay … especially when you’re not playing with a full deck.
g. I leave Greensboro, and THEN Sir Paul McCartney comes to town. Thanks, Paul. I’m Amazed! What do you Say, Say, Say to that? Fortunately, I see that Dallas is Coming Up as one of his tour stops, so I’ll get to hear him sing some Silly Love Songs after all. Perhaps My Love, Cetelia, will go with me so we can Listen To What The Man Said (or has to say). This brain dump is over, Goodnight Tonight. Oh yeah, don’t forget to read what I wrote Yesterday, you can catch it here. Oh yeah, there will be another brain dump Another Day.
